Meet Alexis!
Hey! My name is Alexis, I am 23, originally from small-town Wisconsin, but now navigating my 20s living abroad.
I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management from UofSC, and have always had a passion for event planning. My passion led me into the world of weddings and special event planning, which granted me opportunities to work with some amazing people & businesses.
I also love to travel. I minored in Spanish in College and immediately took the opportunity to study abroad in Seville, Spain, for a semester during my junior year. While abroad, I lived with a local woman, traveled to new countries, and absolutely adored the Spanish lifestyle. This time in my life is what inspired me to move abroad.
Now, I recently moved to Barcelona, Spain, to combine my passions. I am teaching English & have a remote internship with an event venue located in Southern France.
I started this blog as a fun way to share snippets from life, event inspo, and travel content in hopes of building a little community.
Here are a few fun facts about me:
- I love coffee (personal fav = iced honey lavender latte)
- I consistently rewatch the TV show New Girl
- I love to read (all genres), but the TOG series has a special place in my heart
- Fall is my absolute favorite season
- I am a Swifite through & through
